By Train
Castres station has a direct train link with Toulouse (Matabiau) which, in turn, provides links to the entire French railway network including TGV trains to Bordeaux and Paris. TGV map on the SNCF website.
By Air
Castres has its own airport Castres-Mazamet with frequent flights to Paris, but most visitors will arrive via either Toulouse or Carcassonne airports – both of which are a little over an hour’s drive from the Château.
By Road
Our address is , but please note that some maps show our road simply as ‘La Fédial’ rather than its full name. GPS users may wish to enter the intersection of La Fédial and Chemin de Sévérac Village as your destination.
There is a wagon wheel and a “Gite” sign at the entrance.
As you enter our shared driveway from the crossroads bear right so that you pass our neighbours in the large farmhouse on your left.
Please drive slowly but respect their privacy and continue for about 150m straight on through the trees to the Château where there is ample parking.
